Conference Highlights
People’s Choice Awards
The People’s Choice Award—a friendly competition where participants show off their cooking skills—returns for 2026. During dinner on Tuesday, August 25, participants will dish out samples of their entries. After sampling—and probably coming back for seconds—conference participants will vote on the entry they enjoyed the most.

Cornhole Tournament
Following dinner on Tuesday, August 25, we will host our annual cornhole tournament, with proceeds benefiting the OGA Scholarship Fund. Invite a friend to join your team for $25 per player ($50 per team).

Silent Auction benefits the OGA Scholarship Fund
For more than 20 years, OGA has awarded $1,000 college scholarships to deserving high school seniors. This year will be no exception. The association will conduct its annual Silent Auction to support these scholarships in conjunction with the Annual Conference. The OGA Scholarship is open to all high school seniors who are dependents or grandchildren of OGA Member employees or retirees.

Donate to the Silent Auction
All members are asked to donate a gift basket or a silent auction item valued at $100 or more. The more items donated to the auction, the more scholarships can be awarded. The auction will take place on Tuesday, August 25, after dinner. Please bring donated items to the Annual Conference registration table by noon. OGA staff will then develop the auction sheet for each item. Members who plan to donate silent auction items or need more information should contact Jeff Kaufmann at [email protected].

Please direct any questions about registration to Deborah Miner-Gonzales at [email protected].
